Supporting the John Thornton charity
On Saturday 1st June, our Director Paul Bulpitt took part in the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) trout fishing competition to raise necessary funds for the charity.
The charity honours the life of Lt John Thornton RM, from Ferndown, who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008. The charity offers opportunities to young people, helping them to develop as individuals, and achieve their ambitions in life. And since 2008, the charity has helped over 1700 young people fulfil their potential.
On the day Paul caught rainbow trout alongside 12 other fishermen and women, who between themselves caught 40 fish (all but one of them rainbow trout). But perhaps more impressive than that, the event raised a fantastic £350 for John’s Foundation.
We here at Bulpitt Crocker are immensely proud to be given the opportunity to support JTYAF. For more information regarding the fantastic charity, and how you can get involved, please visit: www.jtyaf.org/
